STAR Eco Station DINOFAIRE

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dinofaire 2014 has been canceled. We are so sorry to those of you who were looking forward to the event, and will inform our visitors should the event be rescheduled for a different date. Thank you for understanding!

Don't forget - the STAR Eco Station is open to the public for guided tours every weekend!

Dinosaur tracks lead right to the STAR Eco Station this January, that must mean that Dinoman is back for another fun-filled Dinofaire! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, January 25th & 26th, for STAR Eco Station's special dinosaur themed event. 

Featuring a brand new, out-of-this-world show by Dinoman! Learn how outer space collides with your favorite prehistoric creatures as we race through the atmosphere and bring fossils to life!

Enjoy a riveting presentation by Dinoman on a journey through outer space and the Mesozoic era! What does outer space have to do with the dinosaurs? How do we know dinosaurs were here? What is a fossil? How cold IS space (hint: we'll use liquid nitrogen to find out!)?  This program is fun and informative for dino enthusiasts of all ages. 

Afterwards is an exciting adventure through the STAR Eco Station on one of our guided tours! Meet a few prehistoric looking reptiles and say "Hello" to  some of our rescued wildlife that are distant cousins to the dinos. Learn about extinction with a REAL paleontologist and what YOU can do to help planet Earth’s endangered species from joining the dinos on the extinction list!

The fun continues with more dinosaur activities outside the STAR Eco Station, where you can get your dino passports stamped at stations including our own special "Dino Dig," games, facepainting, and more!  Don't forget to vote for your favorite recycled dinosaur from the display of recycled dinosaurs made by some our very own STAR school sites. 

PLEASE NOTE:
The show and tour will each be approximately 45 minutes in length. Space is limited, and advance reservations are required. Reservations must be made online and will not be available over the phone. Preorder your tickets now, as shows and tours will sell out fast!

Tickets may be available for purchase at the door for $20. Day of tickets are subject to availability.
